Christiana Manzocco

Christiana Manzocco has gained extensive work experience in various roles and industries since 2013. Christiana is currently serving as the Director of Investments at Alberta Enterprise Corporation (AEC) starting from 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Government Marketing at Dealroom.co from 2022 to 2023, where they oversaw the marketing strategy and implementation for the Ecosystem & Government business.

Additionally, Christiana has held several positions at Alberta Enterprise Corporation, including Director of Investments from 2018 to 2022, Investment Associate from 2020 to 2022, Director of Industry Development from 2019 to 2022, and Manager of Industry Development from 2018 to 2019. In these roles, they worked collaboratively with the Investment team, managed a diversified portfolio of venture capital funds, and played a key role in developing the venture capital industry in Alberta.

Christiana also served as the Lead / Interim Executive Director at Start Alberta from 2020 to 2021, where they engaged with startups and investors through the Start Alberta Deal Flow Platform. Prior to this, Christiana worked at Criterium Group as the Managing Director, UK & Europe, and as a Management Consultant.

Christiana's earlier work experience includes positions at Creative Destruction Lab, Aritzia, and windsoriteDOTca, where they gained experience in operations analysis, advertising sales, and business development.

Recently, Christiana has expanded their skillset by completing The Practice of Coaching: An Introduction to Positioning Others, a program offered by Roy Group Leadership. Christiana also acquired expertise in machine learning through the Machine Learning 101 program offered by Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii).

In terms of emergency response preparedness, Christiana has undergone training in the Incident Command System (ICS) through the Government of Alberta, attaining the Incident Command System Training (100) certification.
