Jeff Dutton

Jeff Dutton is a seasoned emergency management professional with over two decades of experience, currently serving as the Director of Emergency Disaster Management for the South Zone at Alberta Health Services since June 2001. In this role, Jeff provides leadership in emergency and disaster planning, readiness, response, and recovery, while also liaising with external agencies. Prior to this position, Jeff held various roles including Emergency Management Officer and EMS Contractor, and contributed to significant events such as the 2016 Ft. McMurray wildfires as an AHS Agency Representative. Jeff's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Business in Emergency Services from Lakeland College and multiple diplomas in Emergency Medical Technology and Telecommunications Engineering. Additionally, Jeff serves as a contract instructor for the Disaster and Emergency Management Diploma Program at NAIT.
