Diane Pettie

Diane Pettie, KC, ICD.D, has extensive experience in corporate governance, legal counsel, and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Vice Chair for Women in Law Leadership, Diane has been instrumental in advancing the interests of women lawyers since 2010. Diane also holds the position of Independent Director at the Alberta Petroleum Marketing Commission and previously served as a director at ATB Financial, where leadership in governance and risk committees was demonstrated. Additional contributions include membership on multiple boards, such as the Independence Standing Committee for Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and CPA Alberta. Diane's past roles encompass Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Canexus Corporation, and Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Sempra Energy Trading, among others. Holding a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta, Diane has a solid educational foundation in law.
