Dave Newton

Dave Newton is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supply chain technology and management, currently serving as VP of Supply Chain Technology at Albertsons Companies since August 2015. In this role, Dave leads transformation initiatives across the enterprise supply chain, encompassing demand planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Prior to this, Dave held various senior director positions at Albertsons, overseeing technology capabilities in supply chain fulfillment and supporting multiple distribution centers and manufacturing plants. With earlier significant roles at Safeway, including IT Director positions in marketing, merchandising, and manufacturing, Dave has developed a robust expertise in technology strategy, operational growth, and business intelligence. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
