Jewel Hunt

Jewel Hunt has extensive experience in the retail and food service sectors, currently serving as Group Vice President Fresh Merchandising, Deli Food Service, Bakery & Branded Concepts, and Ecommerce at Albertsons Companies since February 2015. Additionally, Jewel holds the position of Chairman Emeritus at IDDBA, contributing to the Executive Committee since September 2016. Previously, Jewel served as Chairman of the Board for RotaCare Bay Area, Inc. and spent over a decade at Safeway, where responsibilities included GVP Pharmacy, Health & Wellness, focusing on strategic initiatives in wellness and pharmacy operations. Jewel's education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Phoenix and further studies at Harvard University, among others. Jewel is recognized as a community leader and has received accolades from the American Pharmacist Association and the National Adult Influenza Summit.
