Mariel del Toro

Mariel Del Toro is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Albizu University since August 2015, specializing in mental health, academic, and career counseling. Responsibilities include managing reasonable accommodation cases, coordinating workshops and wellness activities, mentoring student associations, and overseeing the Tutoring Center. Previously, Mariel served as a Student Guidance-Administrative Assistant IV at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez for nearly 19 years, focusing on enrollment for Coop and internship courses, conducting career workshops, supervising work-study students, and coordinating industrial activities. Mariel holds a Master's degree in Education/Guidance Counseling from the University of Turabo and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
