David Pritchard

David Pritchard is an experienced professional with a diverse background in translation and software development. As a German to English translator at Albor since February 2015, David has honed translation skills alongside a long-standing role as a software developer at Lectra, which began in July 1999. Responsibilities at Lectra include the development and maintenance of a highly customizable Product Data Management (PDM) application for the fashion industry, as well as a translation tool utilized by the department. David's educational qualifications include a PhD in Modern Languages/Politics from Aston University, an M.Sc. in Computing Science from Newcastle University, and extensive research in programming linked to a PhD at The Philipp University of Marburg, complemented by a B.Sc. in Modern Languages from Aston University and programming studies at the University of Regensburg.
