James Walsh

James Walsh is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio advisory and investment management. Currently serving as the Global Head of Portfolio Advisory at Albourne America LLC since December 2012, James previously held the role of CEO/CIO at Cayuga Capital Partners LLP, a fundamental global macro hedge fund based in London. James has also contributed significantly as Chief Investment Officer at Cornell University and as Head of Strategy & Alternatives at Hermes Pensions Management. Early in the career, experience includes positions as a Macroeconomic Forecaster at the Economist Intelligence Unit and Senior Economist at the Confederation of British Industry. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London, a Certificate of Higher Education in Faith, Politics & Policy from Sarum College, and a BSc in Economics from Brunel University of London.
