Kim Jacinto-Henares is a Senior Advisor at ASG, where she advises clients on investment strategies and commercial issues in the Philippines.
Ms. Jacinto-Henares brings decades of experience working in Filipino politics and tax policy, most recently serving as Commissioner for the Philippines’ Bureau of Internal Revenue from 2010-2016. In this role, she implemented the Revenue Administration Reform Project funded by the U.S. government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation. Additionally, she oversaw assessment and collection of all national internal revenue taxes and represented the Philippines at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Global Forum for Transparency in Taxation.
Previously, Ms. Jacinto-Henares was a Senior Private Sector Development Specialist at the World Bank and was Head of the Secretariat for former President Aquino’s presidential campaign.
Ms. Jacinto-Henares also advises two United Nations advisory groups, the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific and the Committee of Experts on International Cooperation in Tax Matters.
Ms. Jacinto-Henares received a Bachelor of Laws from Ateneo de Manila University and a B.S. from De La Salle University, both in the Philippines. She also earned a Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from Georgetown University. She speaks Mandarin, Fukienese, Tagalog, and English.
She is based in Parañaque City, Philippines.
