Sarah Karam

Sarah Karam is an Associate in the Middle East and North Africa practice, where she supports clients through policy research and project management.

Earlier in her career, she held research, development, and communications roles at the OECD, the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, the Liberal Democrats in the U.K., the Open Society Foundations, Abbott Laboratories, and the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). At Abbott, Ms. Karam analyzed MENA markets to support reimbursement and pricing strategy development. During her time with the OECD and UNHCR, she researched informal employment in agri-business global value chains in Southeast Asia and education policy and programs for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, respectively. Prior to joining ASG, Ms. Karam worked in reputation management as a Campaign Coordinator at Purple Strategies.

Ms. Karam earned an M.S. with distinction in International Social and Public Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a B.A. in Euro-American Politics, with a focus on international relations, from Sciences Po Paris. She is fluent in French and spoken Arabic.
