Andrei Leontev has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as an Embedded Software Developer at "Leninetz" Holding Company until 2003. Andrei then joined PROTEI as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented high availability MAC level of IEEE 802.16 Base Station/Subscriber Station and developed parts of a VoIP gateway. In 2004, they shifted to the role of a Professor at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, teaching Real-Time Systems and Low-Level Development courses and supervising Master Theses. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Senior software developer - Technical Leader at Genesys. Currently, they are employed at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as the Head of Research and Development since May 2018. In this role, they lead a server team, architects and optimizes a high scalable solution architecture, designs and develops AI intelligence-based bot engine, and optimizes components to improve workload and system performance.

Andrei Leontev holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace and Instrumentation, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Andrei also has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university, earned between 1996 and 2002. In 2011, they attended Alcatel-Lucent University for Engineering/Industrial Management studies. Additionally, Andrei has completed various certifications, such as "GraphQL with NodeJs: From Beginner to Advanced Concepts" from Udemy, "Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Technologies" from Coursera, and others in 2018. Andrei also completed certification courses in subjects like "Introduction to Natural Language Processing" and "Managing agile team." In the same year, they acquired expertise in blockchain technology through a course on Coursera.
