Xavier Thomas has a solid work experience in the telecommunications industry. Xavier started their career in 1994 as a Research and Development Engineer at Alcatel Business Systems. Xavier then moved on to become a Project Manager in the Post-sales Department in 1999. In 2000, they were promoted to the role of Manager of the Small & Medium Business Enterprise Post-sales Department at Alcatel Business System. In 2004, they joined Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as the Human Resources Director.

Xavier Thomas has a diverse education history. In 1992-1994, they studied telecom engineering at ESIGELEC. In 2003, they received corporate training at Alliance Manchester Business School for the Alcatel group. In 2004, they studied process and policy for Human Resources Management at Entreprise & Personnel in Paris. In 2014-2015, they pursued studies in content management and negotiation at Elegia in Paris. In 2016, they took a course in labor dispute management and another course on digital HR at Elegia and Unow, respectively. In 2017, they completed courses in GPEC implementation and payroll management at Formation Orsys and underwent a MOOC on lean management at Unow. Additionally, Xavier Thomas holds certifications in various HR and management areas, including social recruiting, workplace happiness, time management, unconscious bias, and coaching and development, among others.
