Maxim Taralov, PhD has had a varied work experience, starting with a role as a Mathematician at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Institute for Parallel Processing in 2010. Maxim then took on a Research Intern role at Fraunhofer ITWM in 2010, followed by a Mathematician role at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Institute for Information and Communication Technologies in 2011. In 2011, they also began their role as a PhD Student and Research Fellow at Fraunhofer ITWM. In 2013, they took on a Visiting Researcher role at the Institute for Scientific Computation (ISC) at Texas A&M University. Most recently, they have been a Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer and Machine Learning Team Lead at Alcatraz since 2018.
Maxim Taralov, PhD has a varied educational background. Maxim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2009, followed by a Master's Degree in Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling from the same institution in 2011. Maxim then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in 2015. Most recently, they completed a Nanodegree in Self-Driving Car Engineering from Udacity in 2018. Additionally, Maxim has obtained certifications in Machine Learning and Neural Networks for Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in 2017, as well as a Scholarship Award Certificate from the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst).
