Jinwoo L.

Jinwoo L. has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and bioinformatics. They started their career as an Intern at Roche in 2013. Later, they worked as a New Ventures Support & Funding Intern at Oxford University Innovation in 2015. At the University of Oxford, Jinwoo L. served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Associate Director of SABS-CDT from 2017 to 2018, where they created a structural TCR database. They then joined BenevolentAI as a Senior Bioinformatics Data Scientist from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Jinwoo L. is working at Alchemab Therapeutics Ltd as the Director of Machine Learning, where they lead the development of the company's data science and AI/ML stack, and were also the Technical Lead for a project on Cambridge-1 with NVIDIA.

Jinwoo L. holds a DPhil in Bioinformatics from the University of Oxford, which they completed from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmacology from King's College London in 2012. In 2011, Jinwoo completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from Imperial College London. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a certification in "Building Deep Learning Applications with Keras 2.0" from LinkedIn in 2020 and a certification in "Basic German" from OPAL; Oxford University in 2014.
