Martin Gajda

Head of Sales for Central & Northern Europe at Alchemy Global Solutions

Martin Gajda has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Martin is currently the Head of Sales for Central & Northern Europe at Alchemy Global Solutions, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Mobile Value Chain Consultant at Gajda Consulting starting in June 2021. At Gajda Consulting, they specialized in the Circular Economy of Mobile Devices, focusing on pricing of trade-in programs, resale of graded/used mobile devices, and recycling.

Before their work at Gajda Consulting, Martin held various roles at Teqcycle, a company specializing in smart trade-in solutions for phones. Martin was the Head of Sales & Pricing from January to June 2021, the Head of Pricing from September 2018 to December 2020, and a Business Development Manager from April to August 2018.

Martin also took a sabbatical to travel the world from October 2017 to March 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Teqcycle Solutions GmbH from 2013 to 2017, where they held the position of Head of Sales & Pricing. Martin'sresponsibilities included coordinating custom buy-back processes and programs for mobile devices and managing overstock for major carriers and manufacturers in Europe. Martin also played a key role in developing buy-back platforms and integrating them with the Reversys system.

From 2011 to 2013, Martin worked at TEQPORT Services GmbH as a Manager - Take Back Solutions. Martin specialized in providing 2nd Life Cycle Solutions for major companies, particularly in the ITC industry. This included assisting with the recycling, disposal, and preparation of obsolete or used products, as well as facilitating international markets for buyers and users.

Earlier in their career, Martin worked as a Globetrotter, traveling around Latin America from October 2010 to July 2011. Martin also served as a Student Trainee at FriendScout24 from January 2009 to September 2010 and as an eBay-Shop Manager at Espandrillo GmbH & Co. KG from January 2007 to February 2010.

Martin Gajda began their education in 2005 at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing in 2010. In 2008, they participated in a semester abroad program at QUT (Queensland University of Technology), where they studied Asian Business Development, Export Management, E-Marketing Strategies, and Business Administration.
