Ray is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of Alcidion Group. He brings a wealth of public and private sector healthcare experience and knowledge to Alcidion including the role of the Chief Executive and Chairman of the South Australian Health Commission from 1994 – 1998 and Chair of the Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council. Ray’s budget responsibility during his tenure as CEO Health Commission was US$1 billion per annum.

Ray has taken a key leadership role in Commonwealth and State Government initiatives including hospital service rationalisations, major funding reforms for healthcare services, origination of coordinated care in Australia and integrated service delivery in the Australian context.
