Carol Burns

Carol Burns (nee Bore) is a seasoned Occupational Hygienist with extensive experience spanning multiple roles and companies, notably returning to Alcoa in January 2024. Previously, Carol served as an Occupational Hygiene and Radiation Safety Specialist at Tronox from March 2023 to January 2024 and held various positions at B-Safe Trust from February 2003 to June 2023, including Director and Occupational Hygienist. Carol has worked on significant assignments with major corporations such as Chevron and Woodside, focusing on occupational health. Notably, Carol's career at Alcoa began in 1986 and included numerous roles in occupational hygiene and environmental health. Carol holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Hygiene from Edith Cowan University and a Master of Business Administration from Curtin University.
