Dr.arindam Dey. M.D.

Dr. Arindam Dey has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Dr.Arindam currently works at Alcon as the Head of India and South East Asia in the Medical Affairs department. Prior to this, they held various roles at Alcon, including Medical Director for India and Surgical Medical Affairs Team Lead for the Asia Pacific region, as well as Head of Clinical Development and Medical Affairs for India and Surgical Medical Team Lead for the APAC region. In these positions, Dr. Dey was responsible for managing surgical, medical device, vision care, and pharma portfolios, as well as collaborating with global R&D teams and heading regional medical affairs core teams.

Before joining Alcon, Dr. Dey worked as the GM and Head of Medical Affairs for Cardiology and Diabetology at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited. Dr. Dey's career began at Nightingale Hospital, where they worked as a Consultant Clinical Microbiologist and Hospital Infection Control doctor. Dr.Arindam also served as a Clinical Tutor at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and as a Junior Resident in Cardiology at SSKM Hospital & IPGMER.
