Dr. Khajavi is a recognized leader in the fields of minimally invasive and complex spine surgery and sports neurosurgery, and has published numerous scholarly articles and book chapters in the fields of spinal and brain disorders. Dr. Khajavi obtained his Medical Degree from Georgetown University on an Air Force scholarship and performed his neurosurgical residency at The Cleveland Clinic. He returned to active duty where he served as Chief of Epilepsy Surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and held academic appointments at the Uniformed Services School of Medicine. Dr. Khajavi is the Neurosurgical Consultant for the Atlanta Falcons, and the Director of Neurosurgery for the Sports Concussion Institute and the Shepherd Center.
