James Wu is a highly experienced professional in the fields of device analytics and physicochemical sciences, currently serving as the Global Head of PCD Device Analytics and Physicochemical Sciences at Alcon since October 2000. Wu has overseen significant product development and launch strategies across a diverse portfolio, including polymer formulated medicines and medical devices, managing large teams of scientists and coordinating efforts to address technical challenges. Wu's career includes leadership roles at Novartis and Inhale Therapeutics, as well as academic positions at Tarrant County College and Nanjing University. Wu holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Nanjing University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington.
