Kristen Brotherson

Kristen Brotherson has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Kristen started their career at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, where they worked as a Professional Sales Representative from November 2001 to February 2005.

In 2005, Kristen joined Alcon, where they held various positions over the years. Kristen started as a Senior Refractive Account Manager from February 2005 to November 2007. Kristen then became the Global Surgical Training Manager, responsible for ATIOLS & Practice Performance from November 2007 to January 2010. Kristen was then promoted to a District Manager role from January 2010 to July 2011.

After that, they worked as a Senior Global Brand Manager for IOLs from July 2011 to September 2013. Kristen then became the Director & US Head of Surgical Performance Development from September 2013 to June 2014. Following this, they held the role of Regional Director of Surgical Sales from June 2014 to January 2020.

From January 2020 to October 2022, Kristen served as the Vice President of US Surgical Marketing. Kristen was then promoted to the position of Vice President of Sales Vision Care from October 2022 to January 2024. Currently, Kristen holds the position of Vice President and General Manager of US Vision Care at Alcon, starting from January 2024.

Throughout their career, Kristen has gained diverse experience and expertise in sales, marketing, and leadership roles within the healthcare industry.

Kristen Brotherson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication-Public Relations/Image Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1995 to 2000. In 1998, they also studied Spanish Language and Literature at the Universidad de Guadalajara. Kristen pursued online executive education programs at Columbia University Graduate School of Business, specializing in Leading Strategic Growth. Kristen also completed the Arresty School of Executive Education's program in Strategic Thinking for the Competitive Advantage at The Wharton School. In terms of additional certifications, Kristen received training in Giving and Receiving Feedback, Coaching and Developing Employees, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn, with the latest certification obtained in 2023.
