Perla Maldonado

Perla Maldonado, MPH, is an experienced professional in operational excellence and technical services, currently serving as the Director of Operational and Process Excellence for Global Franchises at Alcon since July 2010. In this role, Perla leads efforts to simplify end-to-end processes in Technical Services and ensures the successful implementation of the Transformation Office strategy. Previous positions at Alcon include serving as the Sr. Business ERP Transformation Lead, Global Systems and Process Lead for Service, and Group Lead for Technical Services QM/Compliance in Germany. Perla's background also includes roles in technical compliance and support, as well as field service engineering, with additional experience from Johnson & Johnson and Grupo Angeles Servicios de Salud. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Liverpool and ongoing studies in Data Science for Business from Harvard Online.
