Xinfeng Shi

Xinfeng (Charlie) Shi is an experienced professional in the field of bioengineering and R&D, currently serving as R&D Director and Sr. Principal Scientist at Alcon since May 2017. Shi has held various positions, including Reviewer at ASTM International and Principal Scientist at Tactus Technology. Previous roles include Manager of R&D at CooperVision, Research Scientist in Polymer & Surface Sciences at Bausch & Lomb, and Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University, a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and combined Bachelor and Master degrees in Medicine from Nanjing University.
