Dr. Claude Oather Spears

Dr. Claude Oather Spears has a wealth of work experience in the healthcare field, beginning with a role as a Senior Business Consultant and Senior Territory Manager at Eli Lilly & Co in 1994. Dr. Claude Oather then moved to AstraZeneca in 2000 as a Senior Consultant, and then to Novartis in 2004 as an Executive Cardiovascular Consultant. In 2018, Dr. Spears joined The George Washington University Hospital as a Healthcare Professional. In 2019, they began working at The Nurse Practitioner Group, LLC as a Healthcare Provider, as well as at Privia Health and PRIVIA MEDICAL GROUP, LLC as a Primary Care Provider. Dr. Claude Oather also joined Kingstowne Internal Medicine as a Primary Care Provider. In 2022, Dr. Spears began working at Alcresta Therapeutics as a Medical Science Liaison, and at Eden Health as a General Practitioner.

Dr. Claude Oather Spears obtained their Bachelor's Degree in BSN from Chamberlain University. Dr. Claude Oather then went on to earn a Doctorate from Capella University. Afterward, they completed a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) MSN-DNP from Chamberlain University. In 1980, Dr. Spears earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry/Economics from Washington & Jefferson College and in 2010, they completed their Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Creighton University.
