Matthew Drake

Matthew Drake has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Their most recent position was as a Digital Integration Lead (Secondment) at Ayvens in 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at LeasePlan, starting as a Software Consultant in 1996 and progressing to Head of Solution Delivery in 2011. From 2002 to 2022, Matthew worked at Atos, where they served as a Principal Consultant and undertook several Senior IT Delivery Roles. Before that, they worked at KPMG Consulting UK as a Principal Consultant specializing in CRM project management. Additionally, Matthew worked at Detica as a Senior Manager, focusing on project management and consultancy in the Telecoms, Media, Technology, and Enterprise sectors. Their early career included a position as a Scholar at British Gas. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated leadership skills, expertise in IT services delivery, and a strong background in project management and CRM implementation.

Matthew Drake has a strong educational background in cognitive science and computer science/software engineering. Matthew obtained their BSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham from 1990 to 1994. Matthew later pursued an MSc in Cognitive Science from the same university, completing it from 1994 to 1995. In addition to their educational qualifications, Matthew Drake has also obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2018 and 2021, as well as Professional Scrum Master 1 from Scrum.org in 2017.
