Thomas Beck

Thomas Beck has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal field. Thomas started their career as an Attorney-at-law at Van Doorne Lawyers and Civil Notaries in 2001 and worked there until 2006. Thomas then joined ABN Amro Bank as a Senior Legal Counsel from 2007 to 2010. Thomas then moved to RBS and held the role of Senior Legal Counsel from 2010 to 2015. Thomas later became the Head of Legal for the Netherlands at RBS from 2015 to 2017, where they led the legal wind-down of RBS operations. After that, Thomas worked at LeasePlan from 2017 to 2023, starting as a Senior Company Lawyer and progressing to Lead IP and IT Lawyer and Lead Digital and Indirect Procurement Lawyer. Currently, they hold the role of Head of Legal for Digital and Innovation at Ayvens. Throughout their career, Thomas has shown proficiency in handling complex legal challenges and collaborating with stakeholders in different levels.

Thomas Beck's education history includes receiving a Masters degree in Law from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2000. In 2008, they also completed a post-graduate program in Legal Aspects of National and International contract law at Grotius Academie, graduating cum laude. In 2013, they participated in an internal leadership program at Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2017, they obtained a CIPP/e certification from IAPP.
