Riad ABES

Riad ABES has an extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and preclinical development. Riad is currently serving as the Director of Preclinical Development at Alderaan Biotechnology since January 2021. Riad previously worked at OSE Immunotherapeutics, where they held the positions of Preclinical Project Manager from February 2018 to January 2021 and CMC Project Manager from March 2017 to February 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Preclinical Coordinator at Netris Pharma from April 2013 to February 2017. Riad also worked as a Consultant in R&D and Preclinical Development at Consultant Auto-entrepreneur from August 2016 to January 2017. Riad served as a Project Leader & Immunologist at Vivalis from 2010 to April 2013 and as an Industrial PhD student (CIFRE fellowship) at LFB from 2006 to 2010. Riad started their career as a Research Engineer at NovImmune in Geneva, Switzerland, from 2004 to 2006.

Riad ABES has an extensive education history in the field of biology. Riad obtained an Industrial PhD in Sciences from UPMC Paris 6 University in 2010, specializing in Biology. Additionally, they earned a Doctorat in Immunologie from Pierre and Marie Curie University in the same year. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Immunotechnologies from Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2005. Riad'seducation journey started with a Maîtrise in Biologie Cellulaire et Physiologie from Université Paris Cité in 2004, followed by a Licence in the same field in 2003. Riad also holds a DEUG in Sciences de la Vie from Université Paris Cité, which they obtained in 2002.

In terms of additional certifications, Riad obtained the certification of Sauveteur Secouriste du Travail (SST) from Croix-Rouge française in November 2017. In 2012, they received a certification in Team Management from docendi. Riad also completed a certification in Animal Experimentation (French Level 1) from DDSV (Paris, France) in January 2008.
