Anke Ehlers

Anke Ehlers has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Currently, they work as the Managing Director at ALDI SÜD HOLDING, where they are responsible for the global sustainability activities of the ALDI SOUTH Group. Their role focuses on implementing responsible business activities and making sustainability affordable. Anke is also a Member of the Management Board at amfori - Trade with Purpose. Previously, they held positions at ALDI SÜD as Group Director CRI and CR Director. Anke also served as the CR Manager at ALDI Services Asia Limited and ALDI SÜD. Before joining ALDI, they worked as a Projektmitarbeiter at BMW Group and as a Research Associate and Office Manager at Deutscher Bundestag, MdB Büro.

Anke Ehlers obtained a Master of Arts - MA degree in Social Science, Politics, and European Ethnology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which they completed between 2000 and 2007. Anke also pursued a Master's degree in Sustainability Management at The Berlin School of Economics and Law from 2007 to 2009. In 2002 and 2003, Anke Ehlers attended Lund University, focusing on Ethnology. In 2013, they obtained a certification as an SA8000 Auditor from SAAS.
