Chris McKenry serves as the Group Director of International Sustainability at ALDI SÜD HOLDING since December 2020, spearheading the global sustainability strategy across 11 markets and overseeing five teams focused on critical topics such as Climate, Nature, Packaging, and Waste. Previously, Chris held the role of Director of International Sustainability, where project leadership in the Packaging value chain led to a significant transformation in the company’s approach. Before joining ALDI SÜD, Chris was a Project Director at Aldi UK, tasked with developing store concepts that significantly improved ROI and efficiency. Early career experiences include supervisory roles at Waitrose and an internship at Unilever. Chris holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Exeter.
