Chris McKenry

Chris McKenry is an experienced professional in international sustainability and project management, with a strong background in the retail sector. At ALDI SÜD HOLDING from December 2020 to December 2022, Chris served as Group Director for International Sustainability, leading the global sustainability strategy across 11 markets and managing a multi-million EUR budget while ensuring compliance with ESG legislations. Prior to that, Chris was Director of International Sustainability, focusing on the packaging value chain and implementing a new data collection system. At Aldi UK from September 2007 to December 2020, Chris was Project Director for both store concept and sustainability, managing budgets in the hundreds of millions GBP and significantly enhancing store operations. Earlier experience includes a supervisor role at Waitrose and an internship at Unilever in Corporate Supply Chain & Finance. Chris holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Exeter.
