Florian Janker

Florian Janker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Florian most recently served as a Project Director at ALDI Hong Kong, where they led an in-house team in delivering major projects focused on global sourcing expansion and ocean freight consolidation. Prior to this, they held roles at HOFER KG, where they served as a Manager for Property and Store Development, as well as an Area Manager overseeing multiple stores and employees. Florian also has experience in online sales as the Head of Online Sales at LineMetrics, and in process optimization as a Standard Process Optimization Agent at ZIZALA Lichtsysteme GmbH. Florian has held positions at other companies such as 3M GmbH, EAZ GmbH, and Voith Turbo. Starting in 2023, Florian will be joining ALDI SÜD HOLDING as the Director of International Procurement. Throughout their career, Florian has achieved notable milestones such as doubling potential procurement volume with a key partner and increasing store efficiency.

Florian Janker attended Harvard Business School Online in 2021, where they completed the program "Leading With Finance" focused on finance. From 2009 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Prior to that, from 2003 to 2008, they studied at HTBLuVA St. Pölten, specializing in information technology within the Department of Electrical Engineering, which covered subjects such as English, electrical engineering, automation technology, and control technology.
