Richard Kelly has extensive work experience in benefits management and consulting. Starting in 1989, they worked at Fidelity Investments as a Customer Service Representative and progressed to roles such as Correspondence Representative and Senior Institutional Retirement Services Representative. In 1995, they joined GuideStone Financial Resources as a Manager of Retirement/Benefits Administration and later became a Loan Coordinator. From 1999 to 2001, Richard worked at ING U.S., where they held roles such as Retirement Plans Manager and Compliance Technical Team member. Richard then joined EGL, Inc as a Benefits Manager from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2017, Richard worked at Dynegy as a Sr. Manager, Benefits, overseeing benefit programs and managing vendor relationships. Most recently, Richard Kelly is the Director of Benefits at Aldine ISD, where they manage the district's self-funded benefit programs and ensures compliance with regulations.

Richard Kelly attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Business & Communications, specifically BGST/BLA.
