Glen Yamashita

Glen Yamashita is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel at Alectra since October 2019. Prior to this role, Glen held similar positions at Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company, AST Trust Company (Canada), and was a Corporate Lawyer at Fasken. Glen co-founded and served as Editor In Chief at AWmusic from 2008 to December 2016. Glen’s legal journey began with various roles at Community Legal Aid, including Litigator and Case Worker, and a Strategic Planning Analyst position at Vale. Glen holds a Juris Doctor degree from both the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, obtained between 2011 and 2014.
