Janaka Jayasuriya is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Aleph-Labs since November 2017, Janaka focuses on fostering an innovative engineering culture, advocating best practices, and enhancing collaboration between design and engineering teams. Prior roles include Mobile Lead, where Janaka provided consultancy on multi-platform development, and Software Engineer, leading a significant revamp of a client’s web and mobile experience. Janaka co-founded Krib as CTO and previously held a Research Engineer position at the National University of Singapore, contributing to projects in health cloud technology and Wi-Fi resource management. Janaka holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
