Ali Nadaf

Ali Nadaf, Ph.D., is an experienced professional in data science and research, currently serving as the Director of Data, AI, and Research at Alef Education since September 2018. In this role, Ali collaborated with executives and product teams to develop strategies and business intelligence solutions within the education sector. Previous positions include Senior Data Scientist at Ritchie Bros., Lead Data Scientist at PayPal and Qi-Leap Analytics, and Statistical Data Researcher at Simon Fraser University’s Big Data Hub. Ali also served as an ICT Expert with the United Nations for six years, focusing on data management and analysis. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Simon Fraser University, alongside Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
