Dr Devendra Khandke, M.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dr Devendra started their career as a Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacology, Grant Medical College & Sir JJ Group Of Hospitals, University of Mumbai in 2000. Dr Devendra then worked as a Medical Adviser at Pfizer Global Research and Development from 2001 to 2002, where they were involved in the 'Naturaceticals Global Team' and conducted proof of concept clinical trials on molecules of plant origin.

In 2002, Dr Khandke joined a clinical practice as a Physician for a year before moving on to sanofi-aventis in 2003. At sanofi-aventis, they worked as a Medical Writer and Clinical Research Manager. As a Medical Writer, they collaborated with international investigators on projects related to lung cancer chemotherapy. As a Clinical Research Manager, they conducted Phase III clinical trials in CVS, Oncology, and Diabetes.

From 2005 to 2006, Dr Khandke undertook an observership at Whitney M. Young, Jr, Health Services, Albany Health Center, NY, USA. In 2006, they joined Abbott India Ltd as a Medical Advisor and worked there until 2010.

Since 2010, Dr Khandke has been associated with Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited. Dr Devendra has held various roles, including Head-Medical Services, Associate Vice President-Medical Affairs, Vice President Medical Affairs, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President-Medical Services.

Throughout their career, Dr Devendra Khandke has gained extensive experience in medical services, medical affairs, clinical research, and pharmaceutical industry.

Dr Devendra Khandke, M.D. received their medical education from Topiwala National Medical College and completed their MBBS and MD degrees in Clinical Pharmacology and Internal Medicine. Dr Devendra further pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Clinical Pharmacology and Internal Medicine from the University of Mumbai. In addition, they obtained certification from the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and successfully completed the USMLE Step 3 examination, authorized by the Florida Board of Medicine, specializing in Medicine.
