Christos Hatzis currently serves as the VP and Head of Translational Medicine at Alentis Therapeutics since May 2024. With extensive experience in academia and industry, Hatzis has held multiple positions at Yale University School of Medicine, including Adjunct Associate Professor and various ranks within the Department of Medicine since May 2013. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Global Translational Medicine at HiFiBiO Therapeutics, Director of the Solid Tumor Disease Team at Bristol Myers Squibb, and Director of Bioinformatics at Yale Cancer Center. Christos co-founded Nuvera Biosciences, focusing on personalized cancer medicine, and Silico Insights, specializing in bioinformatics for biomarker discovery. Hatzis holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras.
