Kevin Kaastra

Kevin Kaastra, CPA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Accounting Officer at Alera Group, Inc. since February 2025, Kevin previously held the position of Vice President, Corporate Controller at Acrisure from July 2019 to February 2025. Prior to that, Kevin was Chief Financial Officer at Hoekstra Transportation Inc. from May 2017 to June 2019 and Vice President of Finance at Fremont Insurance Company from November 2003 to May 2017, specializing in property and casualty insurance. Kevin's earlier career included managerial roles at H&S Companies and BDO USA, LLP, as well as serving as a Supervising Senior Accountant at KPMG. Kevin earned a B.S. in Accountancy from Calvin University in 1992.
