Tammy Hoy

Tammy Hoy joined Alerus in 1994 and has held a variety of positions, including sales lead, client service representative, financial service representative, and relationship manager. Tammy is also a licensed life insurance agent. In her current role as a senior financial guide, Tammy focuses much of her time on developing the company’s IRA business.

A native of Hettinger, ND, Tammy earned a degree in psychology from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 1993. A desire to work with and help people steered her toward a career in banking. Tammy recognizes every client’s situation is unique and she strives to simplify the process of retirement and assist with matching the client’s needs to Alerus’ products that provide the most value.
