Lawal Taiwo

Lawal Taiwo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Supply Chain at Alerzo since May 2021, Lawal manages FMCG delivery operations to over 30,000 informal retailers across multiple regions in Nigeria and coordinates a team of more than 1,000 members. Previously, Lawal held the position of Zonal Head of Operations at Babban Gona, where leadership efforts led to a threefold increase in productivity for over 50,000 smallholder farmers and the management of substantial loan values. Lawal's earlier roles include operations lead and head of customer service at Babban Gona, with a strong foundation in research from positions at Kebbi State University of Science and Technology and National Horticultural Research Institute. Lawal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science and Biotechnology from Adekunle Ajasin University.
