Abel Lobo Barros

Abel Lobo Barros has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as the Head of Engineering & Technology at ALESTIS AEROSPACE since December 2009. In this role, Abel has held multiple positions as Chief Engineer for various components of the A350XWB program, including the Tail Cone and Belly Fairing for the A350-900 and A350-1000 variants. Prior to ALESTIS, Abel worked at Airbus from January 2003 to November 2009 as Chief Design Engineer for the A400M HTP Box and as a Design Engineer for the A380 HTP. Abel's career began at Idom Consulting from March 2000 to January 2003, where a focus was placed on mechanical engineering for oil and gas projects.
