Kristin Alvestad

Kristin Alvestad is an experienced IT leader with a diverse background in technology and education. Currently serving as IT-leder at Ålesund kommune since August 2016, Kristin has previously held roles such as Learning Delivery Consultant and Training Manager at Rolls-Royce from March 2012 to August 2016, and Training Manager at Ship Equip AS/Inmarsat Maritime from August 2009 to March 2012. Kristin's career began in education as Drift- og Administrasjonsleder and IKT teacher at Ålesund videregående skole, and spans various positions in IT support and consultancy, including Servicedesk Manager at Tussa Netway AS. Kristin's educational qualifications include a PPU in Pedagogikk and an engineering degree in Data from Volda University College and NKI Ingeniørhøyskole, respectively.
