Jake Carr

Jake Carr is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in production and manufacturing. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Alexander Battery Technologies since April 2020, Jake has progressed through various roles including Senior Production Engineer and Production Engineer. Prior experience includes positions at Hitachi Rail Europe as a Manufacturing Specialist, and at Nissan Motor Corporation focused on Manufacturing & Production Engineering. Jake’s career began at HM Revenue & Customs as an Assistant Operations Officer and included early roles in sales and apprenticeship in sheet metal work. Educational qualifications include an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland, along with training at Shiney Row College and the Sunderland Engineering Training Association.
