Charles Yoo

Charles Yoo has over 30 years of experience in the information technology field. Charles most recently served as the IT Director - System Applications at Alexander Wang Inc., where they managed all application systems for the wholesale, retail, and e-commerce business globally. Charles implemented the Teamwork Retail System for the London Store and Paris Concession Store and completed the integration with the third-party logistics warehouse in the Netherlands. Prior to that, Charles worked as an IT Consultant at Alexander Wang Inc., where they completed the selection and implementation of a new retail system with ERP integration.

Before their time at Alexander Wang Inc., Charles was the VP of IT, Operations and Logistics at J. Mclaughlin. In this role, they focused on the administration, control, and efficient operation of all warehouse activity, including inventory management and staff. Charles also played a key role in creating a logistics plan and supporting systems to meet the demands of the growing enterprise. Charles was a member of the Executive Committee responsible for overall strategic planning and budgeting to support the company's short and long-term growth goals.

Prior to J. Mclaughlin, Charles worked at Tory Burch as an IT Director. In their first three years, they implemented, managed, and supported ERP systems with EDI and warehouse management systems. Charles also managed warehouse operations and new store openings. In their last three years at Tory Burch, Charles managed and supported wholesale business systems, implemented and supported Manhattan WMS, and was heavily involved in international store opening projects for supply chain management.

Before Tory Burch, Charles served as an IT Director at Judith Leiber, where they managed ERP, EDI, and retail systems for the handbag business. Charles also implemented an ERP system for the luxury watch business and administrated network, phone, and PC systems.

Prior to that, Charles worked at Donna Karan as a Senior System Support, where they were involved in several major projects and conducted testing before user acceptance test (UAT). Charles also trained and supported domestic and international users.

Earlier in their career, Charles was the MIS Manager at Heather Hill Sportswear, where they managed and implemented an ERP system for the company's growth.

Charles began their career as a System Engineer at Samsung America, Inc., where they conducted software system selection and implemented and supported ERP systems for more than 20 divisions.

Charles Yoo completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Inha University in the years 1974 to 1978. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Computer Science from Queens College, which they completed between 1984 and 1987.
