Marion Kunz

Marion Kunz has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Marion most recently worked as an Associate Knitwear Technical Designer at Alexander Wang Inc. starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they were employed at Macy's from 2017 to 2020, holding multiple roles including Associate Sweater Designer and Assistant Sweater & Dress Designer for the Style & Co. brand. Marion was responsible for creating design concepts, collaborating with the design team, and managing the development process.

Before joining Macy's, Marion had internships at Rebecca Taylor and pamella roland, where they gained experience in design development, garment sourcing, and show production. Marion also worked at Designing Dreams as a Custom Special Occasion Designer and Senior Sales Associate, overseeing a team and successfully meeting sales goals. Marion's early experience includes an internship at RMC USA Inc., where they refined technical packages for Anthropologie sweaters, and an internship at Pastourelle LLC, focusing on children's sleepwear and special occasion dress design.

Throughout their career, Marion has demonstrated strong design skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively and manage projects effectively.

Marion Kunz has a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design - Knitwear from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Marion also participated in a study abroad program through FIT at Central Saint Martins, the University of the Arts London, with a focus on Knitwear. Additionally, Marion attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for Precollege Programs. Their high school education was completed at Plainedge High School, where they received a Regents Diploma in General Studies.
