Stacie Lee Bennett-Worth

Stacie Lee Bennett-Worth has a diverse work experience in the fields of dance, education, research, and digital media.

Recently, they have been working as the Digital Education and Engagement Director at Alexander Whitley Dance Company since 2022.

Prior to this, Stacie was a PhD Candidate at De Montfort University from 2018, where they conducted research on the integration of digital creativity in performing arts education.

Stacie Lee also held the position of Honorary Senior Researcher at the University of Kent, where they contributed to a research project on physical actor training and developed an online resource.

Furthermore, Stacie served as a Trustee at Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company from 2019 until 2022.

In 2019, they worked with Turner Contemporary as an Artist, creating movement and digital media sessions for families and contributing artworks to an exhibition.

Stacie's experience includes a role as the Digital and Communications Coordinator at People United, where they managed digital platforms and produced content for the charity.

Stacie Lee Bennett-Worth has a Bachelor's degree in Dance from the University of Chester. Stacie Lee then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Choreography from the University of Roehampton in 2011-2013. Currently, they are attending De Montfort University and working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Visual and Performing Arts, which they are expected to complete by 2023. In addition to their formal education, Stacie has obtained certifications in various subjects, such as Art & Activity, Communication in the 21st Century Classroom, Developing a Learning Mindset, and Learning to Teach Online.
