Consultant Anaesthetist at Alexandra Hospital

Glenville Liburd serves as the Chairman of Caribbean CBR Network since April 2014, focusing on the rehabilitation and inclusion of persons with disabilities through Community Based Rehabilitation strategies in alignment with WHO CBR Guidelines and the UNCRPD. With extensive experience in anaesthesia and critical care, Glenville Liburd is a Visiting Anaesthetist at Hughes Medical Center in Anguilla since November 2007 and a Consultant Anaesthetist at Alexandra Hospital, Nevis since January 1996. Additionally, Glenville Liburd owns Eureka Health Services Ltd, providing medical consultations and consultancy services. Previous roles include anaesthesia coverage at Tapion Hospital and Princess Alexandria Hospital, alongside significant contributions to hospital operations as Medical Superintendent at Alexandra Hospital. Training includes residency in anaesthesia at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados, and Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Educational credentials include an MBBS from UWI-Medical School and additional qualifications in anaesthesia.
