Edward Ryder

Edward Ryder has held various roles throughout their career. Edward most recently served as the Director of Finance and Administration at Alexandria Transit Company (DASH), starting in December 2021. Prior to that, they worked for the Government of the District of Columbia, where they served as a Commissioner and Chairperson for ANC 6B, representing the Capitol Hill area. Edward also held the role of Treasurer for ANC 6B during their time there.

Before their involvement with the government, Edward worked at Taoti Creative as the Director of Finance and Accounting, overseeing the company's financial operations and implementing new forecasting processes. Edward also worked as an Accounting and HR Manager at the same company.

Earlier in their career, Edward worked at Ogilvy as a Client Finance Analyst and Finance Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for managing budgets, revenue projections, and financial analysis for the company's clients.

Additionally, Edward has experience in the non-profit sector. Edward served as the Program Director for the American-Libyan Center for Economic & Educational Exchange (ALC-3E), where they helped establish the organization and promote economic and educational exchange between Libya and the United States. Edward also worked as a Deputy Advisor and Senior Program Analyst for the American Libyan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In this role, they focused on developing ties between the United States and Libya and advocating for shared economic interests.

Edward Ryder obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College, which they completed in 2010. Edward then pursued higher education at George Mason University - School of Business from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor's Degree with a dual major in Finance and Economics.
