Alan Murphy

Alan Murphy currently serves as the Quality Control Systems Lead at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., leading digital transformation initiatives within the quality control department for Alexion Rare Disease Ireland. Prior experience includes a role as a Technology Consultant at Accenture, where responsibilities encompassed acting as the Business Process Owner for the global LIMS application SampleManager, as well as leading a global support team managing multiple lab applications. Alan's previous positions also include LIMS Specialist at Ipsen, focusing on the deployment and management of Labvantage systems, and Analytical Development Chemist, performing sample analysis and data review. Alan holds a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry with Business Management from Kingston University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin.
