Austin Taylor

Austin Taylor is an experienced professional in data science, currently serving as Associate Director and previously as Principal Programmer at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since November 2020. Prior to this, Austin worked at IBM from July 2010 to August 2019, holding positions such as Lead Data Scientist and Managing Consultant, where responsibilities included designing analytical tools for the FDA and managing projects for clinical trial data standards. Austin's earlier experience includes roles as a Clinical Data Specialist and Lead Clinical Data Analyst, providing crucial data science support for New Drug Applications at the FDA. Austin began a career in data at Lockheed Martin as an intern in 2009. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Statistics with Data Science from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Penn State University.
