Myo Kyaw

Myo Kyaw currently serves as the Director and CMC Team Lead at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where responsibilities include directing the CMC team to advance multiple assets through the product lifecycle from early-phase to first approval. Previously, Myo held the position of CMC / Pharmaceutical Sciences Lead at Takeda, focusing on global project leadership and guiding CMC activities during the transition from Phase 2 to Phase 3 product development. Prior roles at Shire involved managing sterile product development and overseeing CMC activities for product development in rare diseases and other therapeutic areas. Myo began a career in the pharmaceutical industry at GlaxoSmithKline, where initial roles included Senior Formulation Scientist and Associate Formulation Scientist, providing a foundation in formulation development and manufacturing processes. Myo Kyaw holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and an M.S. in Pharmaceutics from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
